IN THE BOSOM OF DARKNESS PT. 1

So they said we weren't cut out for this so we should stay back in our dark closet without being exposed to the luxurious possibilities of the outside. 
Binded by these concrete walls we call bedroom we hide our scars in the broken mirrors of our wardrobe. 

We are scared to come out of our shell because the world is fierce & lurking with beasts waiting to devour our humble & kind souls, rip us off our self believe & throw us back into a dark dungeon where we can't see the possibilities we can achieve. 

So here we walk aimlessly seeking refuge in the asylum of death who opens our eyes to the many ways of finding him without any regret or stress. He's so easy to find. 

So now we sit down to scribble our last note to our captors about the pain,
 Fear,
Self doubt,
Depression,
Anger,
Frustration,
Emotional stress,
Broken heart,
Teasing,
Exposed secrets,
Betrayal,
Sexual abuse,
Peer pressure,
Loss,
Addictions,
Maltreatment,
Hopelessness, 
Worthlessness & everything they made us feel.
After we full stop, we remember where dad hid his pistol the other day after he threatened to shoot mum in the face for not preparing supper.
So we drop the note on the table & take dads pistol.

Do we shoot it from the front or shoot it from the side? 
But it doesn't matter because either way we still gonna die.

So we count down; 5...4....3.....2..........     ..... ....   ... ..

We hear no gunshot,
We hear no echo,
We don't feel any pain,
We don't feel cold, 
Everything just went blank.
Now we wait. 

Waiting, waiting to see the light. A light of hope, a light of freedom but we wait & wait it never comes. 
We were free from the things of the world, yes sweet victory.
But where are we? 
With no way back & no way forward we sit there in utter darkness wondering, WHERE ARE WE?

TEENAGE CHRISTIANS WITH MISS AEROSGHURL

Good day. Recently Pezzy  had an interesting discussion with 

Miss Aerosghurl. A pretty nice young lady he met sometimeago. 

We at Truth Music decided to publish this for you so you could also learn a thing or two from the discussion. 

Pezzy: Miss Aerosghurl I know you're a Christian. Do you refer to yourself as a teenager?


Aerosghurl: Yes I do

Pezzy: Okay.
As a teenage Christian have you ever been criticized?


Aerosghurl: Not actually.


Pezzy: But is it true that a lot of teenage Christians are criticized?


Aerosghurl: From what I've seen and heard,it is true. 
Many teenage Christians out there are being criticized.


Pezzy: Ok. Can you give us a typical example of what you've seen or heard?


Aerosghurl: Ok.....
You know,most criticisms are about our faith and denominations.
Way back in school,a friend was looked down upon because of her faith.

The world is such that,many people have different views on certain issues.


Pezzy: Oh ok. I guess i can agree with you on that one.


Aerosghurl: Yes


Pezzy: Well back in SHS we had people who some teachers said would fail because they pay too much attention to religious activities on campus, do you think that is also a form of criticism?


Aerosghurl: Yes it is a form of criticism.

As a teenage Christian what other things do you do to reflect your Christian faith apart from going to church?


Aerosghurl: I think reading the Bible.
I see the Bible as a constitution,because it serves as a guide to our faith as Christians.

Also as Christians it is an obligation for us to live as Christ did.So our way of life reflects our faith too.


Pezzy: Wow nice.
Have you ever been influenced by peer pressure?


Aerosghurl: Oh yes.....a couple of times.


Pezzy: Wow care to share one experience?


Aerosghurl: I found myself in a situation where I was supposed to dress like my friends did because we walk together.I'm someone who doesn't like to expose any part of my body.So being with these friends of mine was tough.This is because,I did not do what they always told me to do.

Peer pressure comes in two ways,we have good and bad.


Pezzy: How do you overcome such bad peer pressure?


Aerosghurl: I think distancing yourself from such people.

Some teenagers are weak and are unable to control themselves.Such people can be pressured to do anything uncalled for.So should you find yourself in such a category,your only option is to distance yourself because trying to win them over will only result to them winning you over.


Pezzy: Wow interesting


Aerosghurl: Yeah.......very interesting.


Pezzy: As teenage Christians, how do we convert our non-christian friends to our faith?


Aerosghurl: We can convert our non-christian friends to our faith by first praying for them.
Prayer is the key to every problem or situation.
Once you pray for them,God will start working on them but you as an individual will have to live a chaste and modest life.

Our way of living reflects our background and faith.


Pezzy: Ok nice.
What message do you have for other teenage Christians out here ?


Aerosghurl: Well,I'll like them to know that,they should stand firm in their faith and always look up to God at all times.

PRAIZER TALKS ABOUT 'GRACE' !

Grace, a very interesting Christian topic that many have tried to explain. 
Today we have with us the urban gospel artist, Praizer TheChristAddict, to
talk to us about 'Grace'.

Truthmusic : In your own words, what would you say 'Grace' is?


Praizer: I say Grace is an expression of God's love for men.


Truthmusic : Ok.
 What is your personal take on 'Grace' considering this current generation?


Praizer: Our generation is the most honored I must say...considering the number of Grace preachers we have today. But unfortunately, very few of us today really understand the message.
 Some of us take the message and twist it to our advantage.
Yeah so I think our generation is more privileged, but we misuse the privilege.


Truthmusic : Ok.
So what is this message of 'Grace'?


Praizer: It's simple, We can't do anything for ourselves to attain heaven or righteousness.
Only God can do something about it for us.
That's all Grace is.

Truthmusic : Mmmm ok interesting.
I've heard that; "because of 'Grace' once you're saved, you're forever saved".

What is your say on that?


Praizer: Where did you hear that?


Truthmusic : I have my source.


Praizer: Actually it's true.
Once you're saved, you're saved forever.
Remember Paul asked a very interesting rhetorical question.

What shall separate us from the love of God?

Then he went ahead to list certain things.

You see the problem people have is in their minds.
They think when they are saved and they commit certain particular sins, they won't be forgiven.


Truthmusic: Mmm oh ok


Praizer: Now lemme ask you, how do we get saved?


Truthmusic: Well I'd say by accepting Jesus as our Lord & savior.
But i stand to be corrected.


Praizer: That's all!
 No works attached.
 Or do you have to do something else?

If we don't have to do anything to be
 saved but believe and be saved, what can we do to lose our salvation?
Now that is Grace.


Truthmusic: Wow ok.
So 'Grace' is received not attained?


Praizer: Yeah.


Truthmusic: Ok


Praizer: Lemme give this illustration to those who
 forfeit the Grace message.


Truthmusic: Sure please go ahead.


Praizer: If you have a child, who crawls, then the child
 starts to learn how to stand and walk, won't you be happy?
If one day the child tries to walk and falls down and gets
 bruised badly, what will you do?
Disown the child?

No!
The child has fallen, yes...but you'll help the child up again.
Now that's how God shows us more of his Grace.
With time the child will definitely learn to walk.


Truthmusic: Wow, now that's really interesting.


Praizer: Yes


Truthmusic: Ok so one final question, so one cannot be saved unless by 'Grace'?


Praizer: Yes!
We are saved by Grace, through faith in Jesus.


Truthmusic : Wow ok.

Praizer: Study scriptures carefully...and know what is in there, don't be deceived.

TRUTH OR FALSE PROPHETS? 

I've always wondered if I'm the only who sees them. Everyday when i get to town their the first people i see no matter the time it is. I always hear them ask for money to keep their systems running. So i wondered, do they really preach the word or just seek the wealth?
There is this particular one i see everyday & he goes ; "I want 5 people to give me GHC10 & 10 people to give me GHC5 so that i go". Another also goes: "this morning put something in the box & let God bless you today".

Ok am not saying they don't preach but I've personally not heard them do. The few I've heard preach only preach about the blessings in giving.

I'm not judging them, No. Am just trying to make sense of it because everyday i see not less than 10 of them on the street "preaching" & they keep on increasing daily.
Now there was this particular one i saw in a market. Now this what he said, "Today you've come here to sell but some witch somewhere wants your downfall so has covered your face so you don't get customers. But today we will cancel it. Just put GHC10 in this box & God will destroy them for you".

Now realize this are market women who have traveled from afar to come sell & get something small for the house.

Am not against evangelizing as it's a Christian commission that I myself do follow but i think some people take advantage of it.
Am not judging them, neither am I calling them false, please No i can't do that but i think it's becoming a little too much.

But maybe i might be wrong so why don't you observe it too.

Where's the Passion & the zeal that we all had at first?
To change the world & abolish the rule of satan
The believe & hope we had in ourselves?
Christianity isn't a religion, no
Its a way of life.
Living a righteous life, imitating our savior Christ.
I see church men cheating on their wives
Men of God preaching nothing but lies
We are brought from darkness into light
Whats the purpose if this light cannot shine.
To reach the souls that are lost
Nor our brothers who have fallen.
Count the number of people u have helped
Compared to the number that Jesus fed
Not to mention those he healed & set free from spiritual oppression.
So you Christian my question to you is 'What have you done that imitates Christ? '
'What have you done to make the world right? '
'What have you done that makes your light shine?'
Why is there so much war & death?
So much killing & sex?
Where's the love & the peace?
We've traded them for hate & deceit.
A world full of scammers & thieves.
A world built by a Holy God corrupt
A world given to us to watch over now destroyed.
Where do we go now?
Or should i even ask how?
Will things ever change?
Will we stand or just lay away?
Do we change the world or allow it to remain the same?
What can we do ?
Can we pray? Yes we can pray
If i pray I'll change my family
But if we pray, we'll change society.
And if society prays....
WE WILL CHANGE THE WORLD!
AND I BELIEVE THAT!!!
